Limitations and assumptions
- Each material has one typical density, not a range. Check manufacturer data or the governing code for the actual product.
- Values are per unit volume. Convert to area loads (kPa) yourself using the layer thickness.
- The table does not cite a source for each value.
These calculators are aids, not a substitute for engineering judgment. Check results independently and against the governing code edition before relying on them.
