About
I'm a structural engineer at Associated Engineering in Vancouver. The work is civic infrastructure: water and wastewater structures, seismic design, and the analysis and drawings that go with them, on projects across Canada and the U.S.
I've been at this since 2016. Seven of those years have been in Canada, the rest in the U.S. That adds up to more than a hundred civic projects; the structural portfolio has the ones I can show.
The other half of this site is software. I build the tools I wished I had on the job, from free calculators to ETABS diagnostics to the odd side project, most of them starting as a problem I hit that week.
