Limitations and assumptions
- Distance is the great-circle distance between the coordinates. It does not account for elevation or terrain differences between the site and a station.
- Only Ss and Sr are listed. Read hourly wind pressures and other climatic values for the named station from the code tables.
- The tool finds stations. It does not calculate design snow or wind loads.
- Coordinates only. There is no address or place-name search.
These calculators are aids, not a substitute for engineering judgment. Check results independently and against the governing code edition before relying on them.
